We drove to my grandma’s funeral. Driving sucks and is really dangerous, too. But, man, it’s convenient. You see more of the country, and it’s always nice to have your car when you’re in a strange city.
We drove through Pennsylvania, mostly, and dang if it isn’t a beautiful state. We mostly followed I-76, through both the Applachian and the Allegheny Mountains.
We’re definiitely looking for a new place to live. Most of the country is out, due to associated environmental dangers (Pacific Northwest? Shit no), incendiary politics (Florida? Shee-it no), or a lack of water (the West? Ha ha, no). We think the Northeast offers the most for us and our boys. But too far north, since that’s cold!
So that leaves PA or NJ.
